Let's face it - African Americans spend billions of dollars each year, but our buying power is not reflected in our: businesses, communities or lifestyles.

Statistically speaking, of the $921 Billion we were projected to spend this year, studies show only five cents of each dollar was spent with black-owned businesses.

So, what do we spend our money on? According to Selig Center for Economic Growth, we spend our money on: phone services, utilities, apparel, footwear and groceries.
